1000 Words Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Neon Worms LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), which makes games and apps as Neon Bulldog, handles information in 1000 Words (the “App”). It applies only to the App.

The Short Version

• No accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.
• The App doesn’t collect information about you or send your progress anywhere. It works offline.
• Your progress stays on your device.
• Versions before 1.1 showed ads through Google AdMob. See “Older Versions” below.

I. Information Stored on Your Device

To show your progress, the App saves the words you’ve answered right in each language. It stores them only on your device, where they’re included in your device backups, such as iCloud Backup, if you use them. Deleting the App removes this information from your device.

II. No Internet Connection Needed

The App works offline. It doesn’t send information about you or your progress to us or to anyone else, and we don’t run a server for it.

III. What We Don’t Do

• We don’t require an account or ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
• We don’t show ads, and the App contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking tools.
• We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
• We don’t sell or share your personal information, including as “sell” and “share” are defined under California law.

IV. Older Versions

Versions of the App before 1.1 showed ads through Google AdMob, which may have collected information about your device for advertising under Google’s privacy policy. Version 1.1 and later don’t show ads or include AdMob. If you still have an older version, update the App from the App Store.

V. Crash Reports from Apple

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers (in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), Apple may provide us with crash reports and aggregated usage statistics for the App. Apple controls what is shared, and we use it only to fix bugs and improve the App.

VI. Email

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. Our email provider stores them for us. We don’t share them except when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others, or as part of a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition.

VII. Children’s Privacy

The App doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we will delete it.

VIII. Your Choices

Because the App has no accounts and keeps your progress only on your device, we don’t know who you are and hold no information about your use of it. You can delete the App at any time, which removes your progress. If you have a privacy question or request, email us at jon@neonbulldog.com.

IX. Changes to This Policy

If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and the “Last Updated” date above before the change takes effect.
